Andrew came up stairs one morning to inform me that Ella was working on her very first landscape. :-) I went down to see what she was up to and immediately had to grab the camera and capture the moment. She was sitting at the easel using chalk on paper. She would look outside the window and then draw what she saw on her paper.
For those of you who have been to our house before, this is Ella's picture of the house next door (the one behind us that's been for sale forever, aka "Jeffrey's house") in yellow. The deck and bridge in brown. And obviously the grass in green and the sky in blue. She was pretty proud of herself. :-)
