A little piece of fall

Here are a couple photos for our regular readers living in warmer climates who don't get to experience fall the way I think it should be experienced! Crisp cool air, leaves falling everywhere, beautiful colors all over.

For whatever reason, it seems to me that the fall colors are more gorgeous this year than the last couple years, or maybe I'm just paying more attention this year. Everywhere you look there are beautiful trees. And when the sun is shining, it seems like all the trees are glowing!

Today, we headed to one of my favorite places to take photos: the MN Landscape Arboretum. I was determined to get some nice photos of the girls together. They were having none of it this summer when I attempted to do sister photos. So I started prepping them a week ago. I completely bribed them with candy to get them to take so many photos. The first several were really cute and they were enthusiastic. Their smiles were good. But they quickly grew impatient. Still, I got a few cute photos. Enjoy!

PS. The bottom picture of the girls in the blog sidebar was taken almost exactly a year ago at the Arboretum. If you want to compare how much they've grown in a year. :-)
