School Carnival

Two weekends ago, I took the girls to their little carnival at school. They played a few games like "Go fishing", the lollipop pull, pick a duckie, etc. They also had shape/color bingo, tattoos, and a craft project. But really, the highlight of the whole thing was the kids' art exhibit! They learned about different styles of art and artists in the month of February and created art projects based on the artists styles. Each child had one or two of their art pieces in the exhibit (even though they all created projects in all of the styles). I can't wait to see their other pieces when they come home.

The Andy Warhol wall with Ella's Warhol impression. :-)

That's Lily's pink collage (I can't remember the artist for the life of me) and obviously Ella's Picasso version.

The girls got a lot of "aww"s because they were dressed alike. Now, I'm not usually the type of parent that dresses the girls alike on purpose. I'm more the type to dress them in similar clothes but different colors or something along those lines. However, now that they dress themselves, sometimes they conspire together and match on purpose. This most often happens with pajamas at night because they have a lot of pjs that match. But this particular morning they matched both their shirts and pants. :-)
