So as many of you can recall, I got my fun, fancy-schmancy camera just about this time last year. I have been so careful with that camera. Seriously! And tonight, Andrew was holding Lily and the camera was sitting on our counter. She hooked her foot into the strap and it was flung onto the floor about 3 feet away. The wood floor. I heard this horrible noise and asked Andrew what it was. I looked over and there was the sad little camera just laying there on the floor. I couldn't believe it. I picked it up and shook it gently. Unfortunately, it rattled. We tried to take a picture and it came out black. The LCD screen is fine, we can see previous photos we've taken that are still on the camera, its just nothing new comes out. And it doesn't focus properly anymore. So, of course this happens one week before Ella's birthday party AND we are going to the Star Wars exhibit at the Science Museum tomorrow with Andrew's brother, Benjamin.
So, I'm not sure you'll be getting many new pictures for awhile. :-(

Oh Holly -- I am so sorry. I can feel your pain. -- that is a major bummer!
Oh My Gosh!!! That totally sucks, and just note that it has happened to us too.
