Long Overdue

I think I've been slightly neglectful of the blog lately. Sorry about that. That's mostly due to lack of energy on my part. Remember in my previous post how I said I was keeping the flu bug away. Well, I finally succumbed last weekend. But now, finally, everyone around here is healthy again. Knock on wood.

So two weeks ago, we took a weekend trip to Racine to visit with Andrew's family. We mostly just hung out around the house all weekend with Bubba, Grand Pat, and Ben and Jenelle. Andrew's Grandpa Milt has not been feeling very well lately so we went to visit him. The kids spent a lot of time making cookies, creating St. Patrick's Day cards, and went sledding "in the street" as Ella reported to me. Actually, she went so far down this little hill she almost went sledding into the street. They switched and went down the hill the other direction after that. :-) We also had a very nice visit with Aunt Gail and Uncle Dan (both are Grand Tom's siblings).




While I was laying around recuperating last weekend, Andrew and the girls made hats out of paper and other found objects around the house. Here are some pictures of their handiwork:
